You need not be a chef to write and publish a cookbook online. You just need the will, and recipes of the hand from time to time.
Writing a book Cooking is no different to producing any other kind of "do it yourself manual, because in the end that's really all it is.
No matter how many containing recipes, or cooking lessons, or simply cooking hints and tips, the end is more or less a formula you can easily follow.
What you need to do is write something that is original in content and grips the imagination.
The last thing the world needs is just another cookbook. If that is all that is people do not buy it. There must be something else, like an interesting niche and original.
As an example, a couple of years or so ago Southern cuisine was all the rage and people buying electronic books on the lookout and kale biscuits. But that is over now and the cooks of the Internet have changed. The trick is not to follow, but to bring them something new.
Since cook yourself you probably have a kitchen area that you particularly like, or may be an extension of something else. For example, if you are a trout fisherman you may be able to combine a book about cooking with trout fishing tips trout.
Someone who makes a lot of outdoor cooking must have a lot of information to be transmitted and, although this has been done already, there still remains room for improvement.
An idea that comes to mind is a cookbook on the use of charcoal remains of a charcoal barbecue. I always thought they could be used to decrease bake cakes or bread or whatever and a recipe book based on that, I believe, is read.
Cookbooks do not have to rely on the latest trend in food preparation, far from it. The collections of recipes from previous generations, the First World War 2 and cookbooks to books on ancient cooking methods, especially if it can make cooking seem relevant to today's modern, all found a ready audience.
You do not even need have all this information at your fingertips. There are a lot of freely available online and at your local reference section of the library. What is still not known to be learn, compile and publish a comprehensive whole.
Just be sure to do a little research to see what your competition can be. You could be a surprise. His family recipes can not only unique but a great way to fill a gap in the market. Some of the most sought after items Cooking is about diabetes, picky eating, cooking, budgeting, nutrition, cooking for the sick and elderly.
If you have any experience at all in any of these niches is a ready market for his book.
