I'm not sure what is meant by "group of Yamato 'in the following. Clarification, please?
No, I'm asking you to do my task for me! I hope not, anyway. That is not my intention. The following is taken from page 42 of the book by Edwin O. Reichauser "The Japanese Today: Change and continuity ". _:_:_:_:_:_ majority of land (in Japan) remained under the control of groups called semiautonoumous UJI, which were intended for family YAMATO GROUP ruling by links mythological and real or fictitious ties of kinship. Yamato _::_:_:_:_:_ For group means a tribe called Yamato, a tribe in a place called Yamato, or something a little different that I can not really articulate at this time. Or does it mean the people who were around during the Yamato or persons dyynasty Prince Yamato? Well, I think I'll repeat that. For group Yamato, "is meant a tribe called Yamato, a tribe from a place called Yamato, people who were around during the dynasty Prince Yamato Yamato or people?
Clan or tribe, yes.
