Choosing an abortion clinic in the Chicago area is a challenge, given the problems that have affected these clinics over the years. In the 1970s, Medicaid fraud and poor care offered to women were exposed by the Chicago Sun-Times' series Abortion Profiteers. "
Since then, malpractice lawsuits are being filed against the clinics in Chicago.
Causes of lawsuits against abortion clinics by physical damage after an induced abortion are lesions of the cervix or uterine perforation, [1] hemorrhage, [2] the neck laceration uterus, [3] of the bladder or bowel perforation [4], severe infection, [5] and wrongful death.
In addition to these more severe injuries, other complications can occur after an abortion, and menstrual disorders [6] inflammation of the reproductive organs. [7]
In the long term physical complications of abortion may occur later. For example, overzealous curettage can damage the lining of the uterus and lead to permanent infertility. [8] In general, women who have abortions face an increased risk of ectopic (tubal) [9] and more than doubled risk of future sterility. [10] Perhaps most importantly, the risk of these complications, along with future risk of miscarriage increased with each subsequent abortion. [11]
Abortions are also linked to breast cancer, researchers said Joel Brind, professor of Human Biology and Endocrinology at the City University of New York, and Angela Lanfranchi, MD, assistant clinical professor of surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical, School, Piscataway, NJ.
Women in Berwyn, Cicero, LaGrange, Chicago and surrounding suburbs who are seeking an abortion clinic in the first should educate themselves about the possible complications of abortion, calling for Services WomanCare in Berwyn, at 708-795-6000. Or go to www.womancare.org.

Nurses: How important is the issue of buying Mosby's Medical Dictionary for nursing school?
I need this book for school nursing. The textbook lists the 8 th edition, which is not in line a little expensive, but I'm finding copies of the 7 th edition from dirt cheap! So I wonder if it would work if I just bought the 7 th edition instead. Does editing the contents of the book? The 7 th edition was published in 2005 and the 8 th edition in 2006.
Amazon is about $ 24. That's cheap compared to most college textbooks and nursing. What should be the last edition, especially if the former is at the time of 7 years old.
