I am looking for a piece of poetry interesting, any idea?
As part of my English Lit homework I have to find a piece of text (which may be in the form poetry, novel, children's books, anything), which is unusual and intriguing. I'm still in the process of trying to find a single piece of poetry, so if you have any idea which was very useful. Thank you.
Hi Lottie, out of this list of 180 unusual but easy to understand poems. They are all very bright, and are not their usual, super-famous poets (Wordsworth, Shakespeare, and that much) ... authors are more unusual: Something http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/p180-list.html you can do if you find something really original is a poem written by an unknown poet. It's easy to find people from other poems online, but may have to search awhile to to get you like or think is good enough. If you want a strange poet, try searching www.contemporarywriters.com - there are lots of good there. Liz Lochhead, Edwin Morgan, Carol Ann Duffy, Jackie Kay, Brian McCabe. Take a look! I hope that helps!
