My favorite books are romance when they met when they were younger - any suggestions?
I like reading, but often find it difficult find a good, quality book of romance. My favorites are when the man and the girl met when they were younger. It is always more believable than fall in love so fast instead of other books when you do not know each other at all and get married after only a few months. If you have any suggestions about books like this, please tell me.
Maggie's Child by Karen Robards. It's about a boy and a girl they knew as children and adolescents. They fall in love. They are extremely poor, Unfortunately, as Maggie, the girl goes and marries another man. A rich man who is abusive. And his (former?) Bridegroom returns for his many years later. Sounds like the book you asked. Hope this helps. I enjoyed it.
