Books on terror and the Digital Age

Technology has always been a terrifying force and progressive, especially with the book industry. Whether film, scanners and e-books, the book industry has faced threats before. But the digital age of books about a threat to the book industry of terror or a blessing? This is a topic of heated debate for many. Horror books collectors say that digital books also known as e-books is a bad move for industry, while many more casual readers claim that the digitization of books terror is not natural but a necessary step in the progression and with ever changing technology.
In the Amazon, before the release of Apple and many other devices for reading e-book, it appears that the digitization Book terror is an inevitable evolution. Does this mean that the physical horror books go away completely? Of course not, but it does mean that it is almost sure that the decrease in volume and more casual readers prefer the convenience of purchase and automatically downloading any horror book felt like reading directly to your e-book reader. Let's face it, is pretty damn useful to have a tablet size of a book that can hold thousands of books in a single package, and you can shop online for any book imaginable, and not have to wait for shipping.
However, there are many, including I, who always prefer to have physical horror books on their shelves and in their hands. It is a matter of convenience, it is the experience of reading a real book, and aesthetics books of real terror. Sitting by the fire with a good book can be accomplished with e-book reader, but just not the same. There is a certain pleasure in feeling the paper in your fingers as you turn the page and be able to feel the smooth surface bumpy on the cover. But for me, the most important aspect of having books of terror real is the element of aesthetics. I love to have shelf after shelf full of books on terror with magnificent artwork. Who can honestly say prefer not to have a nice thick book of terror in his hands with great cover art, compared with a reader of fine e-book?
But alas my friends, the book industry of terror is changing at a rapid pace. E-books will become a strong, if not dominant, force in the industry and it seems that there is much we can do about it. However, we may not want? Think about it. If you're a collector of horror books and have shelves and shelves full of chalk some of the best books terror, can you imagine how much will be worth the twenty or thirty years when the industry is largely in e-book? Considering the horror book series of a previous investment, considering the impending digital book revolution is a blessing. Why? Due to their physical, tangible horror books sky rocket in value. So in the end I suppose, is not all bad. Let's hope that the books of horror continue to increase in popularity and the face of the new technological age in the head or hand to hand, depending on where you stand.
