As a ghostwriter, maybe you can check craiglist.org for someone in your area. You have to write a complete manuscript before thinking of the agents or publishers or bestsellers. No publisher or agent will "ask" to write a bestseller, you need to write and work will continue on its own merits. I suggest keeping the writer's market and get some books on writing, such as "Writing the Breakout Novel" by Donald Maass or "The Complete Manual of novel writing: All you need to know about creating and selling their work" by Meg Leder. You need to know some basic concepts about writing a will to attract, professional ghost writer, agent, and / or publisher.
